No. 25 Solid, Black, and a Cardigan

Good afternoon yall! I just sat here and took a buncha crazy looking pictures that Imma post anyway because I don’t feel like retaking em…I mean I took 40 pictures and really don’t like any of em…there was no sunshine and my mood shows it….now there’s plenty outside and I’m done flicking it up…the pictures will improve with the weather, they always do….I apologize for my meh face; I’m always melancholy as hell when the sun hides….There was also a little guy running around in the background playing with his dog Zoe….they were the cutest distraction ever….

Now on to more rambling!…Today is a start of a new month and its also my brother’s birthday! I LOVE my brother a whole lot; I even got his name tattooed on me! He cracks me up and I know he got me no matter what….We can’t hang out today though, we have to adult ugghhhhh… but we will definitely hook up for brewskis on his next off day…..Okay for those who may or may not have been living under a rock it’s also Black History Month….Now me being melanin rich Black History is every single day but for the world I suppose they take this month to learn a few things about my peeps….Knock yall selves out!…

If you sew then this post will introduce you to a Black pattern designer named Eryn Shields of Styles Sew Me as well…..

Now on to Eryn’s cardigan…..yall its soooo cool…I knew I was going to like it just by the paper it was printed on….the sewing goodness was delivered on a very sturdy paper, I’m almost tied’ of the flimsy tissue most patterns are printed on…but this one was strong; similar to US……it sewed up perfectly too…I did my version of a flat felled seam on to neaten up the seams; I may try to take photos to show detail on a later date….they do warrant showing off….Oh and I almost forgot, the cardi pattern is called the Madison cardigan…I got it on sale but its not bad at all on your pocketbook if there isn’t one….go check her out when time permits!

I’ll share the pictures now….Talk to you good people soon I promise!

XOXOXO
